Following the latest success in the United States with the previous
launches in New York City, Las Vegas and Orlando, Blacklane is now setting
off in another three cities at the same time: Philadelphia, Detroit and
Atlanta. Blacklane offers a new alternative in daily transportation needs,
providing customers with airport transfers, transportation to and from
meetings and as-directed chauffeur services.
'We said that we go where our customers go. And we really meant it.' states
Dr. Jens Wohltorf, co-founder of Blacklane, adding, 'We are on the way to
becoming the number one international companion for their entire journey.'
Given that the United States is a major destination for travelers from all
over the world, expanding the limousine and chauffeur service further in
the States' biggest and most important cities was inevitable. 'The United
States offers a lot of possibilities. People welcome us and we gain the
impression that the Americans couldn't wait for the Blacklane limousine
service,' Wohltorf says.
Philadelphia is the biggest city in Pennsylvania and the second largest
city on the east coast. It's important both as a historical and financial
center in the region.
Known as 'Motor City', Detroit has been a center of American automobile
production since the early 1900s. The city has evolved ever since - in
population, industry, and importance. Today, Detroit is home to a largely
diversified economy based on automobiles, finance, IT, and biotech.
Not only is Atlanta the world's biggest transit hub, it's also a major
center for tourism and business, attracting almost thirty-five million
visitors per year. Blacklane customers can be taken to and from the airport
in style, no matter how or when they may be traveling.
Blacklane is here to help the thousands of business travelers and tourists
who land in Detroit, Philadelphia and Atlanta every day.
The limousine service is now available in 15 cities in the United States:
Chicago, New York City, Washington D.C., San Francisco, Boston, Miami, Los
Angeles, Baltimore, Las Vegas, Orlando, Houston, Dallas, Philadelphia,
Detroit and Atlanta. 'And there is no end in sight!' Frank Steuer, also
co-founder, states.
Having received overwhelmingly positive feedback wherever it launches,
Blacklane is firmly establishing itself as one of the leading international
players in the limousine service industry. 'Local providers welcome us
wherever we show up, knowing that we'll add to their revenue instead of
diminishing it.'
Bookings can be made around the clock, online, or with the company's
smartphone app. After specifying their pick-up location and booking period
or desired destination, customers can choose from one of three classes of
vehicles (Business Class, Business Van /SUV, First Class) at a binding
fixed price including all taxes and fees. Cars can be booked up to fifteen
minutes before the customer's required pick-up time.
After booking, customers receive a confirmation of their order as well as
their chauffeur's contact details. Payments can be made by credit or debit
card and, for companies, can be billed on a monthly basis. All customer
invoices can easily be downloaded from their MyBlacklane account.
Blacklane limousines can now be booked in 19 countries: Australia, Austria,
Belgium, Canada, China(incl. Hong Kong and Macau), Colombia, Czech
Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Malaysia, the Netherlands,
Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, the U.K. and the U.S.
