May 2009. Divitel announces their exhibition at the ANGA Cable trade fair in Cologne with a unique ‘iDTV over Cable’ solution. This Cable IPTV solution offers interactive services over the existing cable network! Now cable operators can deploy interactive services and differentiate with competitive edge applications to reduce churn rate.
(firmenpresse) - From 26th until 28th of May 2009 leading digital video solutions provider & systems integrator Divitel from The Netherlands, will show their expertise by presenting a unique ‘iDTV over cable’ solution in Cologne. The solution offers all kinds of interactivity for cable, but integrates with the existing network infrastructure.
It’s now possible to offer interactive services via the already existing cable (CATV) network. Interactive services like Video on Demand, Trick-play, timeshiftTV, CatchupTV, nPVR and all kinds of other competitive edge applications are no longer reserved just for large cable companies with huge budgets, or IPTV systems from Telco’s.
