Care ZX'.
As dogs and cats get older one of the problems they encounter is a loss of
vision. Cataracts in dogs and Feline Uveitis in cats are common
occurrences. A Cataract is any opacity within a lens. Eventually the
entire lens can become cloudy and all functional vision is lost. Uveitis
is an inflammation of the uveal tract, which is the pigmented, vascular
part of the eye. Uveitis usually chronic and can cause blindness and
ocular pain. For Uveitis, veterinarians have said that oral nutritional
supplements would benefit cats. For cataracts veterinary ophthalmologists
have stated that nutritional support of the lens can help to prevent or
lessen the severity of developing cataracts. Nutritional supplementation
can help to enhance lens health by providing antioxidants designed
