Kofax to Provide Document Capture Solution to Global Premium Automobile Manufacturer

Application to Help Accelerate Processing of Millions of Invoices, Vehicle Titles and Registration Forms
IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Kofax plc (LSE: KFX), the leading provider of document driven business process automation solutions, today announced it will provide a document capture solution to one of the world?s leading premium automobile manufacturers based in Western Europe. The value of the initial contract for the first phase of the implementation is approximately $350,000, with additional revenue to come in the future as the project progresses over the next 12 to 18 months.
The manufacturer will use Kofax software to capture and extract data from more than 14 million multi-page invoices, vehicle titles, registration forms and other related documents it receives annually from its customers, suppliers and business partners. The resulting data and images will be routed to an SAP enterprise resource planning (ERP) system for further processing and a Documentum enterprise content management (ECM) repository. The solution will help enable the auto maker to accelerate its financial processes, increase efficiencies and reduce costs throughout its global operations.
