First event focusing on technology for senior citizen and people with disabilities
(PresseBox) - M-Enabling Russia 2015 will take place on May 14th at the Renaissance Moscow Monarch Centre Hotel. The conference and showcase offers an overview of solutions to ensure that senior citizens, persons with disabilities and users of all abilities can enjoy the benefits of mobile telephony and data services while securing greater equity among citizens. E.J.Krause & Associates, Inc. and G3ict (The Global Initiative for Inclusive Information and Communication Technologies) are organizing the event in partnership with the renowned Bauman Moscow State Technical University. Further support is provided by ASI (Agency for Strategic Initiatives Supervisory Board), which is headed by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and UNIC Moscow as well as the All Russian Association of Deaf and All Russian Union of Disabled People.
The conference will stage a mix of Russian and international speakers with experience in accessibility and assistive technologies as well as executives from the mobile industry. Government representatives, private sector and civil society leaders involved in accessibility among Russian Federation and CIS countries organizations will be invited.
Topics of the conference:
-Review of existing mobile apps and solutions and best ways of implementation
-Comprehensive overview of demographics and data regarding usage based upon international case studies
-Discussions among telecom regulators, mobile service providers and advocacy organizations to expedite optimum policies and programs promoting mobile accessibility
-Review of the benefits of expanding accessible digital interfaces to different sectors of society for education, government and the workplace
