Marking head for an easy integration in production lines with low space requirement
(PresseBox) - The dot peen marking head MV5 U65/30 INTEGRAL is the first MARKATOR® marking head with an integrated control unit. The previously required wiring works between marking head and control unit is not required anymore and no space for an external control unit needs to be provided in the control cabinet.
Due to the compact design and the use of the latest manufacturing technologies and materials, the dot peen marking head convinces with its low weight of only approx. 3.0 kg. With this, the mounting on a robot arm is possible without any problems ? even when the space is limited. Despite the low device dimensions, the integration unit has a big marking area of 65 x 30 mm.
As the drive of the marking pin is electromagnetic and no compressed air supply is needed. This reduces the operating costs and makes this dot peen marking head next to the good price-performance-ratio even more attractive.
The data transfer can be guaranteed using the program option Ethernet (TCP/IP). For the communication with the SPS, an optional available function block developed from MARKATOR® can be used. A synchronization can be done via the 4 digital In- and Outputs. Several hundreds of marking files can be saved and administered on the internal memory of the marking head. Due to 6 status LEDs which are located directly on the marking head, a fast function check (e.g. basic postion, error, etc.) is possible.
The marking head is suitable to mark several materials up to a hardness of 63 HRC. The marking force of the solenoid which was especially developed for marking purposes can be adjusted individually to the material and the needed marking depth. With this, a precise marking of nearly all materials is guaranteed.
The high quality, double guided linear guides in X- and Y-direction guarantee a high repeatability and an exceedingly precise and warp free marking result.
The marking head can be mounted in any position and the electronics and mechanics can optionally be protected using a protection cover.
